WHAT IS A ROUTINE INSPECTION AND WHY IS IT NECESSARY ?
Vehicle inspection is a procedure mandated by national or sub-national governments in many developed and fast developing countries, in which a vehicle is inspected with sophisticated equipment to ensure that it conforms to regulations governing safety.
Car testing will improve road safety and enhance environmental protection. Other benefits will include:
• Safer, more reliable cars, longer vehicle service life & reduced fuel consumption

• Potential for lower insurance premiums

WHAT PARTS OF MY VEHICLE DO YOU INSPECT?
• Based on a Vehicle Tester Manual , the following checks will be carried out to ascertain than your vehicle is road worthy:
Wheel Alignment Test- (these tests are computerized). Other areas visual tests like: Under body inspection, Interior inspection, Seat belt, … etc are also carried out.
WHERE CAN I FIND THE INSPECTION CENTRES?
We presently have over 30 centers spread over in 7 states of the federation .see state portal for detailed addresses.
WHAT ARE THE OPERATING HOURS?
The Operation hours for inspection at all our centers are 7:30am – 6pm weekdays and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays.
CAN INSPECTORS COME TO MY LOCATION TO INSPECT MY VEHICLE ?
No – you have to come to one of our Test Centres
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER AN INSPECTION?
If you PASS the test, you will get a Certificate for the next 12 month (For private vehicles and 6 months for
Commercial vehicles) If you fail – you have to come back for a booked Retest within a 30 day window. If you miss this time window – you have to undergo an initial Test again.
ARE THERE ANY EXEMPTIONS TO ROAD WORTHINESSINSPECTIONS?
No – All Vehicles are expected to undergo periodic routines inspection as applicable

Can anyone bring a vehicle for an inspection, or only the registered owner or an employee of the company (in the case of commercial/corporately owned vehicles)?
Vehicle Inspection focused on the vehicle only–so the owner doesn’t have to come
himself, but we store the ownership details of the vehicle in our online memory bank, therefore we only need the Vehicle Owner’s Certificate to proceed.
